Footprints in the Snow book cover

Bookstart February 2010 competition

Win great books in our February competition!

Last month's prizes were all about cats. This month, we're giving away fish and wolves (well, books about them).

Up for grabs is Flash the Fish by Alison Maloney, which has lots of rhythm and alliteration that children will love (with lines like 'Dig the Dog started and darted towards Gill the Gull'). We're also giving away Footprints in the Snow by Mei Matsuoka, a lovely story that aims to reverse the trend of wolves in books always being nasty characters.

To enter the competition, just answer the question below. The competition closes at 5pm on Sunday 28 February 2010. The winner will be chosen at random.

Question

Which of these stories does NOT feature a nasty wolf?
