National Bookstart Week brings families, professionals and Bookstart together in an annual celebration of the Bookstart programme.
This year, National Bookstart Week will be from 11–17 June 2012.
This year we'll be baking cakes, blowing up balloons and getting dressed up as we celebrate National Bookstart Week with this year's theme of parties! And what better way to celebrate Bookstart's 20th year, too!
With family events up and down the country, in libraries, children's centres, bookshops and elsewhere, be sure to get involved in our celebration of sharing stories, books and rhymes.
We'll also be supplying exclusive booklets – Busy Bear's Party , gorgeously illustrated by John Prater – and other resources to support your events. Stay tuned for more information soon.
