Independent evaluation

In 2013, Sheffield Hallam University carried out an evaluation of Bookstart Corner involving parents and practitioners at 60 children’s centres.

This independent research found that the programme significantly improved the parental engagement of families that are not accessing services, across a number of outcomes related to reading behaviours in the home.
