Hounslow

Most of the libraries in Hounslow had a special Rhymetime or Storytime based on the Jungle Theme on the day they normally do their activity. There was a very good turnout despite some bad weather on some occasions.
 

 
Chiswick Library ran two Storytimes where the big soft toy Bookstart Bear took part in many stories and was well cuddled by all the children.
 
At Osterley Library, there was a jungle puppet show of "Walking through the Jungle" and all the children were given bananas and balloons to take home.

All libraries involved used the monkey masks and the colouring sheets and gave the rhyme sheets.

The attendance to events varied greatly from library to library with 11 for our smaller number of children up to anything between 38 and 52!
