Bookstart is for every child
The Bookstart packs are created with the aim of helping all children to develop a love of books.
What other packs are available?
If you have a child who is deaf, or has a visual impairment, you can obtain either of the packs below in addition to the regular Bookstart packs.
Bookshine: for children who are deaf
If your child is deaf you can ask for a free Bookshine pack, specially created for babies and young children aged 0–4.

Booktouch: for children who have a visual impairment
If your child is blind or partially sighted you can ask for a free Booktouch pack, specially created for babies and children aged 0–4.

Also available: dual language books
If you speak English as a second language then you are entitled to free dual language books.
