My daugher is 18 months old and still finds this book stimulating. I've been reading it to her since she 3 months old! It's especially fitting as we actually live by the seaside, so it's nice for her to learn about all the fun that can be had in our local area. I usually add some sound effects when we read it, and when we get to the part about 'the friendly crab' I tickle and pretend-pinch her like a crab and it always gets the best giggles.
