What families say
lovely repetition and lots of duck action
Brilliant book, my 14 month old loved the rhyming story. The pictures were colourful and fun
This is a great starter book as my daughter mightily enjoyed it and keeps saying we have go back the libray and get it back.
This was our toddler's favourite book! We have the sturdy board book version. We pointed out the different animals/people that were making the different noises that made the book such fun to read. The rhythmic text was a joy to read and easy for our little one to pick up and join in with. Our older children also enjoyed reading this book to their little brother - we are already big fans of Julia Donaldson & Nick Sharratt so it was great to discover a new story to share.
My daughter loves the simple rhyming words that take the characters on their day out
My son loved this book as a toddler.... There is so much to see in each picture and the repetition of the rhyme was fantastic for getting him to join in with the story. Highly recommend this book!
Our toddler loved this one, especially spotting the duck! I liked it too, so I didn't mind reading it over and over.
We originally borrowed this book from the library and it proved so popular that we went and bought a copy. The illustrations are bright and colourful and the repetitive language is perfect for toddlers. The topic is sounds you can hear and this is great for little children as they are learning. This is a book my 18 month old reaches for again and again.
