Bookstart in Northern Ireland

Sadly, it was announced in March 2015 that NI government funding would be cut and Book Trust are looking for alternative partners.

Northern Ireland is now the only UK region without a bookgifting scheme, but we are working hard to find alternative funding to ensure that NI children and families do not miss out on the life-changing benefits that books can bring.

Arts Council NI Book Trust Stories Tour with authors

In partnership with Arts Council NI, Book Trust brings Early Years authors to Northern Ireland for visits at nurseries, schools and arts centres. Previous tours have featured Julia Donaldson, Nick Sharratt and Petr Horáček, and we’re looking forward to welcoming Chris Haughton in October 2015.
