Gifting the packs

Libraries are one of the three places where parents can obtain Bookstart packs for their children.

Generally, if babies and toddlers have not received their packs from either their health visitor or early years setting first, their parents are then directed to their local library.

Please contact your Bookstart scheme coordinator to keep stocks of packs for gifting.

Packs and library membership

We want as many children and parents as possible to join their local libraries as a direct result of receiving Bookstart packs.

However the gift of a Bookstart pack should never be dependent on joining a library.

Other languages

There are a range of Bookstart materials in other languages, including dual language books, information leaflets and book-sharing advice. Please ask your scheme coordinator for more information.
